The wound is the place where the light enters you
I am a registered psychotherapist in Ontario with a client-centered approach to therapy focused on meeting each client where they are as a unique individual with their own unique needs. I take a holistic view and approach my clients with compassion and respect when helping them face their challenges, maximize their potential, and attain the well-being they deserve.
I work with clients presenting with a host of challenges including anxiety, depression, anger, suicidal ideation, low self-esteem, grief, abusive relationships, and past trauma using a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, and mindfulness-based approaches.
When it comes to long term wellness, I strongly believe that mental and physical health go hand in hand, and as a therapist and certified yoga teacher, I trust in the benefits that yoga and mindfulness practices can offer for personal healing and growth, stress reduction, enhanced mental health and functioning, and increased emotion regulation.
